Check thou it out! It’s called Cain, Son of Adam.
“And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” (Genesis 3:15)
It is the dawn of human history. The entire human race consists of one family: Adam, Eve and their three children. Their sons, Cain and Abel, and daughter, Naomi, are on the cusp of adulthood and know nothing of fear or sorrow. But that happiness is shattered when they discover why their parents were banished from the Garden of Eden. What’s more, the Creator has emerged after long silence, commanding Cain to offer Him a sacrifice… What follows is a tale of romance and heartbreak; of brotherly love and treachery; of desire, despair and ever fragile hope; as Cain sets out to fulfill his greatest desire: to kill Nahash, the Great Serpent who overthrew his parents, and bring humanity back to Eden.
Here is Bradley’s bio:
Long ago, in the ancient days of 1987, a man-child was born in the decaying industrial town of Rockford, IL. He was a weirdo from day one. While other children were of playing games in the schoolyard, he was content to wander around by himself, making up odd stories to amuse himself. It was not until eighth grade that he found a use for this little hobby. He was reading “A Tree Grows in Brooklyn” for a class assignment, and discovered that the main character had the same hobby that he did.
“You’ll be a writer some day,” an adult told her.
That odd boy was me, and those words have been etched in my heart ever since. I’ve gone through a lot since then: going to college, experiencing a reawakening and re-embracing of the Catholic Faith in which I was raised, exploring the possibility of becoming a priest, got married to my best friend, moved to Atlanta GA, and witnessed the birth of my beautiful daughter.
But through all that, my desire to be a writer, to tell stories that touch hearts and stimulate minds, has never dimmed or faltered. And after years of effort and “not yets,” it is finally being realized.
