The Epstein files should have been released long ago. I suspect some wealthy, powerful men are involved in one way or another. What is Trump afraid of? If he has nothing to hide, then why the delaying and attempts to distract the public? Let the chips fall where they may.
When one is an amoral billionaire with access to everything and the means to spend hush money to cover their illegal activities, they will continue to seek the next high and see what they can get away with.
This is what led Musk to seduce the wives of fellow billionaires. To prove that not only is he richer, but also more of a man than they are.
Pedophilia is the ultimate illegal thrill for complete moral bankrupts. They get to break another person’s life completely, thoroughly and permanently. And they get to brag about it within their circle and then they get away with it because they will protect each other through mutually assured destruction. And their victims have no chance to speak up, they have no proof, and if they start being too much of a problem, they will just disappear.
Oh, and it’s the same argument I hear over and over with regards to clergy sexual abuse scandals: “Most of the accusations are made up”.
Great! If that’s true, then do a proper investigation and prove that they’re false and that these incidents are even more rare than the accusations show.
If you can’t do it for the sake of the victims to provide them with closure, do it for the sake of the falsely accused to exonerate them so they no longer have to live with the odium of an allegation haunting them.
Given the difficulties in getting the files released, it seems to me that DOJ is protecting people. But who? The whole thing stinks.
