The outtro music was a nice touch.
Heathen gamer here. Although, my tastes are shamelessly formed and centered around the more mainstream stuff. That means the indie side of the industry is, typically, not familiar to me.
That said, I’m with the opinion that leans more towards Dropsy as some form of Christ analogy rather than Alum. This, from my understanding of where the Church seems to be heading, seems the better match.
You know what would really wow me though? A similar game that’s ‘about Jesus’ but cloaked in the aesthetics and story twists of a mainstream hit. It doesn’t even have to be an actual big hit (though that would shock me more). Just give me something that uses a lot of music and motifs you’d expect from a J-RPG, puzzle adventure or even a visual novel, but then does the story the way Dropsy does adventure games.
It’s a vague concept, I know but I’m very confident I’ll know it when I see it.
