…was held at Sacred Heart parish in Racine, Wisconsin this past Saturday morning and Yr Obdt Svt was asked to give the keynote. Happily, the whole thing was done by Zoom, so you can participate in it, albeit belatedly. Fr. Ricardo Martin is the pastor there and has a real heart for his community and, in particular, for the Least of These and his parish of wonderful people reflects that.
My job was basically to offer an outline of the Church’s Social Doctrine so that their panel of very smart and informed laity could then take the ball and run with it in terms of application on the ground in Racine. The issues we discussed are applicable pretty much anywhere and there is something in this discussion to benefit almost anybody. Check it out!
