…the apostate dwarfs huddle together and chant their slogan, “THE DWARFS ARE FOR THE DWARFS!”. They believe in no one and nothing but themselves.
I cannot help but think of them as I look back on this disgusting spectacle that unfolded last week:

There could not be a more certain proof of an antichrist parody of the Faith than the selfish name “Catholics for Catholics”. “The Church,” as Pope St. Paul VI says, “exists to evangelize”, not to hunker down and pity itself in the company of predators and sociopaths. Nor is she called to wall herself into Fortress Katolicus, drive out nearly every occupant but the nihilist rich, and pour boiling oil from the ramparts on those seeking entry.
But there they are, a rogue’s gallery of enemies of Christ, the pope, the Church, the least of these, and the human race, bowing down to a dimestore antichrist, as Brian Fraga details in his profile of them.
The appropriately named Fr. Heilman, pausing briefly from his manly US Grace Force grift (the best grace money can buy!)…

…cheers on the quack former bishop of Tyler, Texas as “America’s bishop”–vociferous enemy of the Pope and vigorous accomplice to the murder of hundreds of thousands of people through his anti-vax quackery–offers Eucharistic Benediction in Trump’s whorehouse of corruption and Mammon worship:

The more accurate name of the group would be “Catholics for Catholics with $1200 to Piss Away on Supporting an Antichrist Cult”. And for the low, low price of $300, you can even buy the Holy Eucharist as well:

And for this money, robbed from the poor to whom it rightly belongs and given to line pockets of a Dimestore Antichrist and Tyrant just feet away from where he treasonously kept stolen classified documents, you could not only rub elbows with a quack bishop and a grifting MAGA priest, but you could listen to the theologized sex fantasies of Taylor Marshall as he rails against the Holy Father, the treasonous blather of criminal Mike Flynn as he rails against the Holy Father, or the incredibly creepy history of swinger and professional thug Roger Stone as he rails against the Holy Father.
A reading from the Epistle of James:
My brethren, show no partiality as you hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory. For if a man with gold rings and in fine clothing comes into your assembly, and a poor man in shabby clothing also comes in, and you pay attention to the one who wears the fine clothing and say, “Have a seat here, please,” while you say to the poor man, “Stand there,” or, “Sit at my feet,” have you not made distinctions among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts? Listen, my beloved brethren. Has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which he has promised to those who love him? But you have dishonored the poor man. Is it not the rich who oppress you, is it not they who drag you into court? Is it not they who blaspheme that honorable name by which you are called? (Jas 2:1–7)
A reading from the Acts of the Apostles:
But there was a man named Simon who had previously practiced magic in the city and amazed the nation of Samaria, saying that he himself was somebody great. They all listened to him, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This man is that power of God which is called Great.” And they listened to him, because for a long time he had amazed them with his magic. But when they believed Philip as he preached good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. Even Simon himself believed, and after being baptized he continued with Philip. And seeing signs and great miracles performed, he was amazed.
Now when the apostles at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent to them Peter and John, who came down and prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit; for the Spirit had not yet fallen on any of them, but they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they laid their hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit. Now when Simon saw that the Spirit was given through the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money, saying, “Give me also this power, that any one on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit.” But Peter said to him, “Your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money! You have neither part nor lot in this matter, for your heart is not right before God. Repent therefore of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that, if possible, the intent of your heart may be forgiven you. For I see that you are in the gall of bitterness and in the bond of iniquity.” And Simon answered, “Pray for me to the Lord, that nothing of what you have said may come upon me.” (Ac 8:9–24)
Here’s St. Patrick, providing back up for St. James:

Indeed, St. Patrick, the threat, “Join us or you will not get to spend eternity with us” is not the flex these predatory weirdos think it is.
“The road to Hell is paved with the bones of priests and monks, and the skulls of bishops are the lamp posts that light the path.” – St. John Chrysostom
Pope Francis: You know I love you. And I know you hoped Strickland would vanish into insignificance when you removed him from his diocese. But honestly, he needs to be laicized like Pavone. So does Heilman. Please do whatever it is you muckety mucks do to make that happen. They are both a scandal and a hissing.
Meanwhile, as we wait for the Ents of Rome to decide what to do with this MAGA bishop, I sent the following message to the Diocese of Palm Beach wherein this grotesque display of antichrist piety was permitted to be held:
“Why on earth did the bishop of your diocese permit the scandalous, heretical, and vicious cult “Catholics for Catholics” to hold a “gala” at Mar-a-Lago, featuring notorious perverts and monsters like Roger Stone and malignant disgraced bishop Strickland? God’s name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because your disgraceful complicity in letting this happen! Repent!”
It would be such a shame if lots and lots of other people sent similar messages to their feckless bishop.

I wouldn’t say he permitted it as much as he couldn’t prevent it. I agree with your analysis, but I think he did not want to bring attention to it. We don’t know what he did behind the scenes. But yea terrible event.
It’s the Bazaar of the Sons of Annas all over again.
Too bad the local bishop didn’t show up with a whip of cords and do some house cleaning.
Right Wing Catholic clergy have made a pact with the Devil. Their embrace of MAGA, which throws the poor under the bus in favor of the rich is anything but Christian. Their toadying to Trump is sickening. And they think that they, and they along speak for God. They are revolting.
I don’t see a problem with “Catholics for Catholics” or “Praying for America”.
Catholics praying for each other, supporting each other and helping each other be better Catholics are all great initiatives.
Praying for one’s country is also a noble and glorious thing to do, as long as it’s patriotic, not nationalistic.
The problem is that this is insidious language. By making these people the public faces of Catholicism, it takes Catholicism hostage and forces upon Catholics their specific worldviews.
**As a Catholic**, I don’t see a problem with disgraced clergy attending (as long as the bishop in question is only removed from his see rather than actually suspended, let alone excommunicated). I mean, by Grace, when the teaching is sound, I don’t have a problem with the person being a hypocrite (as long as the person in question is repentant). It may shake my faith, it may be painfully shortsighted, it may be cruel to the victims of that person, and I will question the soundness of putting a person like this at the forefront of being a keynote speaker, but ultimately, it’s not a huge problem.
It becomes a problem when we are to bear witness to the world. **To a non-Catholic**, this is anti-witness. This celebrates a very anti-Catholic point of view and labels it as Catholic, making it difficult, if not impossible, to evangelize.
The disclaimer on the bottom of the poster is extremely misleading. The event takes place in Mar-a-Lago, you can’t just wave a disclaimer and waive all responsibility. The place is synonymous with Trump. Choosing that place over a retreat facility owned and run by the Church is just sticking out the middle finger.
These are NOT “Catholics for Catholics”, these are “Anti-Catholics celebrating anti-Catholic way of life” and NOT “Praying for America”, but “Praying for MAGA”.
At least when I became an apostate I didn’t fall in with this freak show.
Or become a dwarf.
I wonder if it occurred to Taylor Marshall that he is the one wielding poison, and profiting from being a shock jock.
I don’t know what the feeling is toward binding prayers in these parts, but since Fr. Chad Ripperger advocates their use by the laity and since he has 100% thrown his lot in with these people – something you’d THINK a seasoned exorcist would know better than anyone NOT to do – I’m tempted to throw one out there specifically for the members of Catholics for Catholics and the evil spirits who may be influencing them. It may not do much good, since they obviously still have free will and would have to make the choice to accept whatever grace of illumination and repentance may come their way, but it might just be cheeky enough to touch a nerve and make them uncomfortable.
