However, his great advantage was (as a Russian general had famously told the Poles a century and a half earlier) “We have a lot of people.” So he could throw as many Russians as he liked into the meat grinder and eventually defeat a Nazi regime with far more limited manpower fighting a multi-front war.
Trump, idiot that he is, imagines “no other army in the world” could beat Hitler but ours because he is too ignorant to know that it was the Soviets, not us, who did the heavy lifting on the Eastern front. He is also so stupid that, while he wants a military personally loyal to him as Fuehrer, he keeps making war, not only on his generals, but on the rank and file. Yes, there are lots of MAGA troops. But if his Baby Boy parade is any indication, if you keep treating troops this shittilly you cannot have a military eager to go die for the size of your dick.

Also, Trump surrounds himself with incompetent sycophants such as Kristi Noem, Pete Hegseth and others, who don’t know what they are doing, but who are fanatically loyal. They are capable of only flattering him, not getting much done. His cabinet meetings are sickening, as various members of the cabinet compete to see who can flatter him the most. It’s pathological.
