I love this. A guy who has never read the Bible and who doesn’t believe decides to give it a crack in about the best frame of mind I think a person can: as somebody visiting another country who wants to be respectful to the ideas, customs, and mores of a foreign land and who also has his own thoughts and feelings about what he is encountering. You can’t ask fairer than that. The result is a fun and interesting travelogue of a stranger in a strange land who is encountering Jesus as the extraordinary human being he is for the first time. If you are a believer, say a prayer for this good guy as he takes this journey. It’s a pleasure to watch.
