The weirdest thing about about the Cult is their everlasting surprise when their orange messiah–who has made an entire career of betraying and discarding wives, family, friends, workers, sycophants and toadies–betrays and discards them.
Greg Bovino, the former Border Patrol commander who led President Donald Trump’s mass deportation raids, accused senior administration officials of pulling his security detail because “they want me dead … I think to silence me.”
Funny story: 330 million people in the US have never had a security detail and yet nobody wants to kill them.
No. Wait. Scratch that. Some people do need protection against kill squads and vigilantes. For instance, Renee Good and Alex Pretti could have benefited from protection from the SS troops under this butcher’s command. You remember doncha Greg?: the ones you praised for their cold-blooded murders of two innocent civilians, thus earning you the sack?
Now I have no doubt that Trump, finding this little Nazi to be a burden and an embarrassment, cut him loose without a thought for his personal safety as he uses and discards every other human being. But, Greg, you should still consider the fact that Trump did not make you into the sort of person millions of people despise. You did that all by yourself. Trump simply removed the protection you stupidly thought he would always give you. The first draft of the SS likewise enjoyed immunity from prosecution–till the Nazi regime was crushed. Then they were all hanged.
My point is: You aren’t just a loathsome predator, Greg. You are a dumb loathsome predator who now feels sorry, not for your victims, but for yourself. Why would you expect anybody to join your pity party?
Repent. God, amazingly but truly, still loves even you and will forgive you if you sincerely abjure your sins. Heck, he forgave you 2000 years ago. But if you cling to your pride and disobedience and self-pity, that forgiveness will do you no good because you will not have your hands free to receive it and begin to use those hands to repair the damage you have done.
So enough with the self-pity. Turn around and walk toward Jesus. Repent, for the Kingdom of God is near.
